Ghost the Musical nominated for 5th Ave Awards

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Tahoma High School’s Ghost the Musical.  They were nominated by the 5th Avenue Theatre for multiple awards, including Outstanding Overall Production (only eight schools are nominated for this award).  This means that the cast will get to perform at the awards at Benaroya Hall on June 12th.  122 productions (from over 100 schools) in the state of Washington were evaluated for the awards this year (the largest group ever to compete), so this is incredibly exciting.  Please congratulate the kids if you see them!

The nominations are:
Outstanding Overall Production
Outstanding Direction
Outstanding Musical Direction
Outstanding Orchestra (Carter Stoeger, Dylan Woods, Jeremy Riggs, Grant Davis, Jandrea Grobbelaar, Nicole Stan, Eden Ulrigg, Ken Riggs)
Outstanding Lead Actor (Sam Bennett, above, as Sam – he will get to perform a solo on stage)
Outstanding Lead Actress (Morgan Roberts, above, as Molly – she will also get to perform a solo)
Outstanding Lobby Display – Honorable Mention
Outstanding Lighting Design – Honorable Mention
Outstanding Choreography – Honorable Mention

Thank you for your continued support of the performing arts!  Go Bears!
