Tahoma Seniors earn Auto Tech scholarships
Two Tahoma seniors competed Saturday at the Pacific Northwest Top Tech Challenge hosted by Universal Technical Institute. Giovanni Martinez and Hunter Miner earned 8th place in a competition of 15 state-wide schools and career centers. Each student earned a $1000 scholarship to any Universal Technical Institute school. These students demonstrated career-ready skills including serving brakes and tires, analyzing alignments angles, electrical circuit diagnosis, engine management systems, and a written exam.
