Help give WSDOT Feedback for MV Highway
The Washington State Department of Transportation is conducting a safety study of State Route 169 between the city limits of Renton and Maple Valley. This section of SR 169 is experiencing a particularly high rate of growth. The corridor also presents a complex highway environment because of its use as a commuter and freight route, its proximity to the Cedar River Trail, and its many driveways and businesses.
WSDOT wants to hear from SR 169 users to learn more about their experiences using the corridor between Renton and Maple Valley. WSDOT will use public input, along with a detailed crash analysis, to develop recommendations and submit a report to the Legislature at the end of 2016.
You can share your input in the following ways:
5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14
Lake Wilderness Lodge, 22500 SE 248th St, Maple Valley, WA 98038
Sept. 7 – 21
Thank you for your thoughts as WSDOT works to evaluate the potential for serious injuries and fatal crashes on this stretch of SR 169 and develop recommendations for possible safety investments.
