Four Tahoma Automotive Technology students competed Friday at the SkillsUSA State Championships in Automotive Maintenance and Power Equipment Technology. Congratulations to Tylur Sommerdorf and Garit Bowman for winning 2nd and 3rd place in Power Equipment Technology! Brandon Lewis also competed in Automotive Maintenance and Jacob Brown in Power Equipment Technology, but did not finish in the top 3.

These four students also participated in a SkillsUSA service project on Saturday morning preparing supply bags for the homeless in Tacoma.

Please congratulate these students and encourage all interested students to participate in SkillsUSA, the Tahoma Auto Club.
