Auto students compete at SkillsUSA Regional

Future ready built hereFor the first time in Tahoma History, the Bears competed in the SkillsUSA Regional Automotive Maintenance and Service competitions. Held at Shoreline Community College this past Friday, the competition consisted of 6 hands-on skill demonstration stations plus a written exam.

Congratulations to:

  • Austin Grotting – 2nd Place Automotive Maintenance Austin’s prizes included about $200 worth of tools.

Also qualifying for the state competition:

  • Matthew Pinter – 5th Place Automotive Maintenance
  • Joseph Stevens – 6th Place Automotive Service

Please congratulate these students as they prepare for the State competition in April.
