Bear Metal returns as finalists from PNW Districts

IMAG0433This weekend, Bear Metal competed against 36 teams from the Pacific Northwest District which is comprised of FIRST robotics teams from Washington and Oregon. Tahoma struggled with intermittent electrical issues in the finals, but we were able to battle through the quarters and semis. We finally fell to the #1 seeded alliance after pushing them to three matches.

Prior to this event, Bear Metal had already qualified for the District Championship in Portland which will be held in two weeks. There, the top 64 FIRST teams from both Washington and Oregon will be competing for a spot in the World Championship in St. Louis. The current district rankings can be found here.

Please congratulate members of the robotics team for the hard work and success.
