Computer Science Students meet Governor Inslee and Jeff Bezos
Last Friday, Tahoma High School Computer Science students attended a special grand opening event of Seattle’s Museum of History and Indusrty (MOHAI): Bezos Center for Innovation, where they had the opportunity to learn about Innovation in Technology and meet Governor Inslee and Amazon.com CEO Jeff Bezos. Students learned about how you should be OK with the possibility of failure when you are innovating, to have “divine discontent” with the ways things work so that you are constantly trying to improve processes, and how to take criticism with a grain of salt and think about whether you should listen to critiques and change your product or stand firm in your beliefs and your product.
