From King5: NFL Network salutes Kent man as PE Teacher of the Year

Watch the interview here.

The NFL Netowrk has selected a teacher from Kent as its PE Teacher of the Year. Tracy Krause runs the PE program at Tahoma High School and has dedicated his career to helping motivate students to be healthy, inside and out. With the help of his students, he’s revamped his program to meet their changing needs. The NFL chose Krause over 2,000 other entries, awarding Tahoma High School a $10,000 grant as well as $10,000 for Krause.

Tracy Krause joined Margaret to talk about the honor and about why it’s so important to keep physical education programs thriving for kids of all ages. Several of his students also demonstrated a fun alternative to the “rock, paper scissors” game.
