Home grown lettuce!

Thursday 6/2 the kitchen staff will be serving Global Academy/Green Team Garden lettuce in the salad bar.  This morning in the pouring rain Green Teamers Tess Clinkingbeard and Sarah Layman harvested about a dozen heads of green leaf, red leaf and romaine.  Thank you to the Pam Stickle for being willing to serve up our locally grown, organic produce!

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the broccoli and cauliflower will be ready before school lets out!

Thank you to Carpinito’s and Cedar Grove Composting for supporting our garden this year.

    Keep up the great work!
It’s also so wonderful that the school kitchen staff is serving it!
Best of luck with the rest of your crops!
