I will NEVER forget the day that I was removed out of my High School study hall and placed in ART class. The year prior, My Jr. High Art teacher said I was the worlds worst artist, compared to my brother. I was so hurt and angry, I made it a point to avoid ART at any cost, well drawing it atleast.
3 days before I was removed, I unfortunately had a bad experience with a teacher in the hallway. My boyfriend at the time was being a jerk and I was GUILTY by association. What I did not know then, but quickly found out, that teacher was the ART teacher. OH NO! She is going to hate me before I even get in there, WAIT I do not want to be in there. This was a LOSE-LOSE situation.
    OR WAS IT???
She turned out to be the MOST inspirational person During MY High School career. She gave me a chance, she showed me that I was actually a great artist and was poorly judged too early on in my artistic talents.
Mina Johnson, was one of my greatest friends, mentor and teacher. When she passed away while I was in College, Studying Art, I was contacted by the news paper to be interviewed for her obituary. I thank her every day for being a part of my life. SHe taught me to love and have a passion for the Arts. She is the reason for me becoming a teacher today! Miss You Mina and Thanks.

Mrs. Page has made a huge impact in my life. She has inspired me to do so many things I thought I would never want to do. Last year when I took Animal Science she rekindled a passion that I thought I lost over the year of wanting to have a carree that has something to do with animals, and this year she has started a new fire burning passion in Plance Science, and now I want to do something that involves both Plants and Animals.
She is a great teacher and always goes above and beond just teaching and helping in the classroom. She alsways teaches with such enthusiasm and if you ever need help with something she does what she can to help you.
I’ve learned so much from Mrs. Page over the last two years. With her bright smile and caring personality people can’t help but to like Mrs. Page and enjoy her company. She is always up lifting and encuraging. She is also like a mother to her students seeing as if you are missing something she is constantly hounding you about it. 🙂 But that is what makes her such a great teacher. She actually cares about how her students are doing.
I will always be greatful to Mrs. Page. She has taught me so much and I feel like I have grown as a person after having known her. She will always be teacher whoes name I will say should anybody ask me ‘What teacher do you remember most’ or ‘What teacher made the greatest impack in your high school life’
Thank you so much Mrs. Page for being not only a great teacher that students can depend on, but also a wonderful friend. 🙂
