Know a family in need of a computer?

Do you know anyone looking for a computer? Are you looking for a computer? If so, we might have a fit for you!  We have a new program at Tahoma High School where PC Technology students will give out refurbished computers to the public. The purpose of this is to help provide our community with computers to families who don’t have one. You can receive a Dell desktop computer which will include a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Please register before you come on the 16th of March. If the family doesn’t have access to a computer, you may call Jill Jolk at 425-413-6204.

Come to Tahoma High School from 5-7pm on Wednesday, March 16 to pick up your computer. We will also be having a computer tutorial being displayed by Joyce Chemp as her Senior Project. This tutorial will include many functions of computers including Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2007.

If you have any questions, please call Mike Jackson at 425-413-6239.

    Hello,

I am the Administration Manager at Vine Maple Place, which is a non-profit organization that provides transitional housing and services to homeless single parents and their children here in Maple Valley. Alan Bulger and Michelle Frets (staff here at VMP) have communicated with Mr. Mike Jackson our desire to obtain desktop computers for our families so the children can do their homework, parents can job search, etc. Mindy McClain has also been in touch with Mr. Jackson about our need and it is our understanding that 2 – 3 (or more) computers may be available for our families.

We would love to arrange for a pick up of any desktop computers that may be available at this time (we currently have none to give to our families). If there are none available at this time, can we be put a request into the que for 2 – 3 desktops, please?

My contact information is 425-432-2119 and joc@vinemapleplace.org. Would someone please contact me about our request?

    Thank you so much!!

    Jo Clark
    Administration Manager
