The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) is a program of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE). Students who are residents of WICHE states may enroll at participating two- and four-year college programs outside of their home state at a reduced tuition rate. WICHE states include: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming. High school students with top math/science scores may qualify for four-year college scholarships
Beginning with the class of 2010, low- and middle-income high school students with top math and science test scores may be eligible to apply for up to four years of free college tuition through the new GET Ready for Math and Science Conditional Scholarship program. Students must score a four on the math or science section of the high school WASL or score above the 95th percentile on the math section of the SAT or ACT. In return for the scholarships, students agree to earn a bachelor’s degree in a qualified math or science program at an eligible public or private college or university in Washington. | Whylie Family Scholarship
AMOUNT: $1,000 DEADLINE: Statements and an unofficial transcript are due in the THS Counseling Center by 3:00pm on May 14, 2013. ELIGIBILITY: Students who plan to pursue a vocational career or a career in the arts. Interested students will need to submit a statement explaining what their career goals are and how they intend to reach these goals.
